PUC Commerce
The Pre University Program is essentially a two year programme. The curriculum is taught over period of an academic year. Since the programme is a bridge between the school education and the college education, it is of paramount importance as a transition enabler. Self driven learning, basic and fundamental concepts in various subjects, acquiring skills of analysis problem solving, model making, and presentations are part and parcel of the curriculum, which prepare the students effectively to face the challenging tests such as Common Entrance test for professional courses. This program gives them the right directions when it comes to making their academic choices in future, apart from building them as responsible human beings.
The Programme
Eligibility : Admission to First Year Pre-University Programme is open to candidates who secure a pass in 10th or equivalent examination from a recognized institution either in Karnataka or in other States of India / other countries. Candidates seeking admission from outside of Karnataka should submit Migration Certificate issued from a competent authority. Foreign nationals have to obtain a temporary eligibility certificate from the department of Pre-University Education, before taking the admission to PU Programme.
